How do you reduce the risk of repetitive strain in the arms?

We use the world’s probably largest database of elbow movements!

In just two years, PRECURE has developed what most likely is the world’s largest database of muscular activity from the elbow. The data is electromyography - or EMG - collected live from close to 1000 workers doing their daily work. The database now consists of more than 8000 hours of recorded data. And this is growing rapidly.

What is this used for?

This data have given us crucial insight into the triggering factors (risk factors) to repetitive strain injuries around the elbow e.g. tennis elbow. Attrition or repetitive strain injuries are known in a broader term as  Musculoskeletal Disorders - or MSDs. The data expands the existing body of research. The Insight has enabled us to develop the revolutionary muscle load index® - abbreviated MLI® - which is integrated into our solution MLI® Elbow.

Why is this important?

MLI® gives the users feedback on their actual muscular load. It help the users to change behavior and reduce the risk of MSD. Their employers are benefitting from a healthier workplace, reduced costs, and increased productivity. Watch two users explain how MLI® helped them having less pain and reclaiming their life.
